Welcome To The Royal Oak Inn, North Woodchester, Gloucestershire.
We are very proud to be the custodians of this old English pub – sadly a rare breed these days.
We are situated in the village of North Woodchester in the rolling Costwolds countryside. We date back some 350-400 years as an Inn and parts of the building are older than that, with oak beams, flagstones, wooden floors, coffin drop and flaming fires.

Great Food
All our food is made on the premises from the best ingredients.
Our style is for small, seasonal menus using local produce where ever possible. The culinary style is English/French traditional with a modern twist.
For a unique dining experience, on Sundays only, our chef carves roast sirloin of beef and roast leg of pork at your table from his carving trolley.
Take Away
We are now offering take away food – Friday & Saturday night evenings from 6pm – 8pm and Sunday lunch take away from 12 – 4 pm.

What’s a decent pub without a great selection of drinks? Our ales are looked after with love and we pride ourselves on our guest beers.
